Centennial Discovery Lifecycle Management

<<< Back to Features

So whenever a new piece of hardware is added to the network, Discovery will automatically report what kind of device has been detected (PC, server, printer etc.) and where in the organisation it is physically located.

By deploying a small client agent to new PCs and servers, Discovery will return a complete audit of all component hardware and installed software.  But Discovery doesn’t stop there.  The client agent will then continually monitor the computer for configuration, location and software changes, dynamically updating the asset repository when important changes occur even if there is no periodic audit scheduled.

No matter where in the organisation the asset is moved to, Discovery will continue to provide a full audit so that managers can build a complete historical view of usage, location and configuration.

Even when outdated equipment is retired or returned, Discovery can maintain an archive version of the asset record, enabling organisations to meet regulatory demands for audit trails and record-keeping.
