SupportDesk Data Integration and Import Set UpDuration: 1/2 Day – Remote control session Overview In addition to data integration to Microsoft Active DirectoryTM, Richmond SupportDesk can offer other data import functionality. The RTS Import Tool allows data to be imported from any OLE compliant database to populate the Navigator Tree. SupportDesk can also display data from other sources by creating External Data Links (XDIs) to other systems. This provides valuable information quickly and easily, without losing time opening other data sources. These XDI’s are custom-built, real-time views of other systems from within SupportDesk. These views are linked into an imported asset record allowing users to open a number of views into the source data to view up to date information. Benefits & Deliverables
